LA, Inc., is committed to improve academic success by helping foster youth graduate from high school on time. In-school intervention provides personalized support for students in need of intensive academic attention. Unfortunately, less than 50% percent of foster youth graduate high school. Our enrichment programs are effective because they provide educational support such as mentorship and tutoring. Offered before and after school, these programs bring comprehensive support focusing on:

 

• Increasing school attendance

• Improving grades

• Increasing passing scores in core curriculum such as English and Math

• Increasing high school graduation rate/decreasing dropout rates

• Enrollment of higher education.
