On Friday, March 21, 2025, Living Advantage, Inc. was honored to attend the Los Angeles City Council’s recognition of USC Good Neighbors, a long-standing partner dedicated to supporting youth, families, and communities across South L.A.
Held at L.A. City Hall, the event spotlighted the collective work of USC’s community partners and grantees whose programs bring life-changing resources and educational opportunities to neighborhoods that need them most.
Representing Living Advantage at the event was team member Nitin, who joined other nonprofit leaders and advocates to show gratitude and solidarity. Programs like our V.A.L.E.™ workshops, LA Youth Center events, and eLockbox™ initiative have been able to grow and thrive thanks in part to the funding and support we’ve received through USC Good Neighbors Grants.
A highlight of the event was connecting with Dr. Carolina Castillo, Ed.D., Executive Director of Development for USC Civic Engagement, whose leadership has helped expand the reach and impact of grassroots programs like ours.
“The recognition may have been for USC, but it reflected all the powerful partnerships and purpose-driven work happening citywide,” said a Living Advantage team member.
We’re proud to be in good company and even more motivated to keep showing up for the youth we serve.
