BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Feb. 13, 2024 - PRLog -- Living Advantage, Inc. (LA, Inc.), a 30-year-old nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering foster youth, is thrilled and deeply honored to have been selected as the beneficiary of the Next Beverly Hills Committee's Annual Clothing Drive, which took place on Sunday, February 11, 2024.
The Next Beverly Hills Committee's decision to support LA, Inc. for a second year in a row demonstrates their steadfast commitment to fostering positive change within the community. The organization is grateful for the ongoing partnership and unwavering dedication to their mission of empowering foster youth to overcome adversity and achieve full potential.
The clothing drive, held on Sunday, was an incredible success, thanks to the overwhelming support and generosity of the Beverly Hills community. The outpouring of donations of gently used clothing items will make a significant difference in the lives of foster youth LA, Inc. serves, providing them with essential resources and support to thrive.
"We are truly humbled by the outpouring of support from the entire Beverly Hills community, Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce, Women's Business Network, and most importantly the Next Beverly Hills Committee," said Pamela R. Clay, LA, Inc. Executive Director. "What an honor it is to be selected once again for this clothing drive. We can't wait to hand out all the donated items to our youth who need it the most."
In the spirit of giving back, LA, Inc. is pleased to announce that they will be holding a special giveaway for students at Manual Arts High School. All the clothing items collected during the clothing drive will be distributed to students in need, ensuring that they have access to warm clothing and essentials to support their academic and personal success.
LA, Inc. is committed to fostering resilience, independence, and success among vulnerable youth populations, and partnerships like these are instrumental in advancing our mission. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Next Beverly Hills Committee and everyone who contributed to the success of this year's clothing drive.
While the clothing drive may have ended, LA, Inc.'s work continues, and they invite community members to join in their efforts to support foster youth. Whether through volunteering, mentorship, or financial contributions, every act of kindness makes a meaningful difference.
